What time should I arrive?

  • Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the time indicated on your tickets.
  • Seats are unnumbered and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A queue will be set up outside on Rue Poissonnière as long as the theater is not yet available (previous screening in progress).
  • The nearest metro is Bonne Nouvelle, lines 8 and 9, exit no. 1, Rue du Sentier.
  • We do not have a parking lot, but you can find public and private parking nearby.
  • These parking lots are often full, so it is advisable to allow extra time to park. You can also reserve a spot in advance at some private parking services.
  • Access will be denied once the movie has started.

Is there still availability?

  • If a session does not appear on our website, it means it is sold out.
  • Due to high demand, it is recommended to book in advance.

How to book with the UGC card, Cinécheques and other vouchers?

  • We accept UGC Solo – Unlimited and Blue cards. They can be used at the box office starting 1 hour before the session, subject to availability. An additional €5 per ticket will be charged for the show.
  • Cinécheques, universal cinema vouchers and Grand Rex subscription cards are also accepted with a €5 supplement per ticket due to the Féerie des Eaux show. If you have e-tickets, bookings must be made on www.legrandrex.com.
  • These vouchers are not valid for VIP sessions.

Can I change my reservation?

  • We’re sorry, but according to our Terms and Conditions accepted at the time of purchase, bookings are firm and final and cannot be changed, cancelled or refunded.
  • However, you may transfer your tickets to someone else, as long as the tickets are not nominative.

Can my child attend? Do I need to get a ticket for them?

  • All children are welcome as long as they have a valid ticket for the session they are attending. Each attendee must have a ticket.
  • The show is recommended for children aged 3 and up, as younger children’s eardrums may still be developing and could be damaged by the sound. We recommend bringing earplugs or headphones.
  • Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.

How to book for a group?

For CSEs, city halls, associations, leisure centers and schools, booking is done exclusively via email by clicking this link: Groups. Please include all your contact details + date + time + number of people in your request. You will then receive confirmation with a quote or invoice.

What is the Féerie des Eaux?

The Féerie des Eaux is a spectacular show performed on the Grand Rex stage: 2500 water jets reaching over 15 meters high, 500 special effects, 26 multicolored light projectors… A dance of water jets synchronized with music, light effects and special effects. The Féerie des Eaux is presented with the Christmas film in the main theater. There is no ticket available for the Féerie des Eaux alone.

Which room hosts the Féerie des Eaux and when?

The Féerie des Eaux takes place in the Grand Rex’s Main Hall, at each session, from late November until the end of the Christmas school holidays. Session duration: approximately 2h15. The film may occasionally be shown in another room without the show, which will be clearly indicated on the booking page. Please double-check to ensure you book the right session.

I lost my ticket

If you booked on our website www.legrandrex.com and did not receive or no longer have your confirmation email, please send us a message using the contact form, specifying the session, number of seats, name and email address used for the booking. We will resend your confirmation. If you have dated CSE tickets: For e-tickets, ask your CSE to resend them. For paper tickets, you must find them, no duplicates can be issued.

Rex Studios Visit

Rex Studios tour duration = 45 min. Tours are organized in groups of about 15 people, departing every 5 minutes. Before or after your session on the same day between 10am and 7pm, you can do the visit in the morning, take a lunch break and then attend the session in the afternoon, or do both activities consecutively. If you want to do the visit before the session, allow 1h30 in advance as a precaution.

Checks starting with STU are undated tickets for the Rex Studios tour and must be booked on our website www.legrandrex.com

With VIP tickets or Fnac tickets, the visit must be on the same day as the screening. Please go directly to the ticket counter during opening hours.
With Grand Rex tickets dated February 28 or June 30, please go directly to the ticket counter on the date of your choice before expiration.

VIP Seats

VIP seats are located in the Orchestra (lower central area). The VIP rate includes a dedicated waiting line, a hostess welcome, a reserved seat in the Orchestra, and a snack. VIP Prices: €45 for the Féerie des Eaux and Christmas film or €50 for the Féerie des Eaux, Christmas film and Rex Studios tour. No booking is required for the Rex Studios tour, just show up before or after your session.

Cloakroom

We do not have a cloakroom. We accept strollers and small children's scooters for deposit. Luggage is not allowed for security reasons. Likewise, any object that could be used as a projectile, constitute a weapon or endanger public safety, in particular: pyrotechnics, knives and sharp objects, plastic and glass bottles, and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. We also do not accept bikes, adult scooters, or electric scooter/bike batteries.
